Villa Splendid

Nestled by a deep river gorge in the tropical jungle of central Bali, awaits Villa Splendid, a 5-bedroom family getaway on paradise island, just a 15-minute walk from the center of Ubud. The sprawling tropical garden is spacious and lush green, perfect for spending quality family time, swimming in the pool, playing basketball and badminton. The open-plan traditional Balinese living pavilion enjoys terrific views over the river valley to take you breath away and leave you with a sense of enchantment. There are comfy lounge- and dining areas and there is a TV room with air-con for entertainment. There are 5 bedroom suites of which one is furnished with bunk beds, especially for the kids. Guests are welcomed in the wonderful, lush tropical garden of Villa Splendid upon entering the estate through the traditional alang-alang roofed entrance gate.

The garden is sitting right by the edge of a deep river valley, fringed by coconut palms and all kinds of tropical greenery, providing guests with panoramic views to enchant you instantly!

A private swimming pool sparkles in the heart of the garden, thrilling both kids and parents! Swim in your own oasis of peacefulness, soak up the sun on the poolside reclining chairs and unwind completely this holiday on Bali island, together with your loved ones! A basketball net is placed on the sundeck as well for family entertainment and a badminton net can be set up on the manicured grassy lawn down at the lower level of the garden.

Just perfect! The living room is found on ground level of the double-storey traditional Balinese house. The living space features a tropical open-plan design, allowing fresh air to circulate and maximizing the enchanting river valley view.

Guests can sit in the uniquely designed hanging chairs, reading a book in a wonderful peacefulness ambiance.

There are two dining areas to enjoy family meals and there is a comfy lounge corner to wake up slowly with a nice cup of coffee in the morning or at any time of the day. For entertainment, snuggle up together in the air-conditioned TV lounge room, fitted with a comfy sofa, coffee table and a huge flat-screen satellite-TV with DVD-player and iPod dock. Adjoined to the TV room, there is a guest toilet for your convenience.

Bedrooms

Villa Splendid houses a total of 5 bedrooms. The master suite is found on the first floor, boasting terrific views of the surroundings through the full length glassed windows all around this air-conditioned bedroom suite. In the middle stands a stunning traditionally wooden-carved four-poster bed.

There is a walk-through dressing room equipped with a safe and the deluxe open-air en-suite bathroom features a copper bathtub and a relaxing rain shower.

Next door from the master suite, there is the first guest bedroom, featuring a private breezy balcony furnished with comfy hanging chairs. This air-conditioned room connects to the bunk-bedded kids’ bedroom, ideal for families, sharing one bathroom with two rain showers together.

The last two bedrooms are found in a separate guesthouse for those seeking a bit of extra privacy. Both rooms come with air-con, comfy double beds, and private en-suite bathrooms
