Villa Markisa is one of the 5 traditional Balinese luxury villas in Akilea Estate, located in the hills of Bukit Peninsula, Uluwatu in the south of Bali.
This 3-bedroom vacation home is a tranquil family haven with a stunning private tropical garden resembling some sort of paradise, right here on the island on Bali, planet earth. Near to the villa, you will find amazingly beautiful beaches and famous surfing hot spots as well as the cliff-top Uluwatu Temple and more than a handful of epic beach and cliff clubs such as Single Fin, El Kabron, Sunday’s Beach Club and Omnia.
Villa Markisa features traditional ‘alang alang’ thatch-roofed buildings and rustic, natural interiors.
The living room features wonderful views of the garden and pool. On one side, there is a chic, white L-shaped sofa with a coffee table and a wooden closet with books and magazines to read.
On the other side, there is a handsome whitewashed dining table for 6 and in between, there is a stylish, European kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave and a high-tech fridge with double doors.
Kitchen appliances are from leading brands and to top it off, there is a long timber bar with 2 high chairs, creating another lovely spot to have drinks, listen to music and chill out with loved ones.
The garden is completely surrounded by tall, mature tropical trees, flowering plants and more tropical beauty, giving this villa a very secluded and paradise-like feel. Not to forget the stunning lagoon-shaped infinity swimming pool with a separate shallow area for the kids.
The white stone sundeck is furnished with white rattan long chairs and day-beds, partly shaded by a large parasol.

The 2 guest bedrooms share a third garden pavilion and veranda. One bedroom is furnished with a canopied queen-size bed and the other with twin beds, configurable into a king-size bed upon request. Also these 2 bedrooms feature spacious dressing rooms and garden bathrooms with bathtubs and showers in the open-air.
